In episode 15 of Project Binky, we wrestle with brake lines and fuel lines, make a couple of reasonably nice braces for under the car, argue over P clips and drink a bunch of tea. There's also a biscuit dunking incident. Hope you enjoy it!

where on earth can i get those nylon blocks or long strips of it? i have always thought of making a front splitter out of abs plastic but nylon would probably do fine as well maybe 1/4 inch thick for the splitter, but the look of those nylon line brackets is much better than p clips. anyone that knows where to buy either in bulk in america would be a great help

the attention to detail you guys give is out of this world. some may not see and understand the time and thought that goes into making something where it's not supposed to be and making every little bracket welding grinding .I could go on and on but I'll stop here really have a work of art

@if66was99 Add lightness is a phrase from Colin Chapman of Lotus. The original mantra is "simplify and add lightness".
if66was99 9 kuukautta sitten
I started about 2 years behind on this build, rewatched it all many times. First time I saw PTO I had to google it. :-p BTW, I'm sure Richard realizes that "add lightness" is an oxymoron. Makes it all the funnier. Like the million little hidden jokes in Airplane! or Police Squad.

Commenting on an almost 2 year old episode but I'm watching it again (for the 3rd time...) BOM it would be very interesting to see how you guys put together your CNC mill. I'm a CNC machinist by trade. It looks like you guys made it homemade (in a good way.) I guess you didn't film that but it'd be nice if you showed it off a little. Pretty badass piece of kit!

I can't help but think that when they are all done and everything is working great it will be time to go back to the emerge brake and convert it to hydraulic like they should have done in the first place. LOL. Lets hope not but I'm thinking that was a mistake. But as everyone is saying these guys are incredible in their fabrication work and all their work!! Awesome!

Too bad about the plastic P-clips. I used such on my electric boat project and they get brittle quickly under exposure to heat and light. I hope yours are better quality and do not become an unsightly blot on an incredibly sanitary job.
benprebble500 2 vuotta sitten
Guys- i full on love this channel! Engineering porn. Quick note though as you seemsuper keen on accuracy....its incorrect to say 'add lightness'. Apart from being a paradox, in physics you can only remove weight. in the same way that you don't add cold, you remove heat.
