In episode 23 of Project Binky we fix a hole in the sump, modify a radiator, finish a lot of the wiring and make a bracket with brackets for the interior light and dashcam. We test the electrical circuits, and there's some shenanigans in our Subaru for good measure.

Seen the whole series umpteen times but still have 3 questions from this episode. 1 Why use panel bond not weld it? 2 On the switch panel what is the star switch for? 3 The biggest question, you said no front more wiring but I see a front fog light switch, is there a goal post move due again lol

At 22:19 there is a pinhole leak in the bottom right hand corner from the bottom of the middle weld. You can see the water droplet run out when the pressure is applied.

Umpteenth watch and only just noticed that you have a superfluous switch on that panel. No front fogs fitted, but a switch for them? Future proofing again, or an oversight? Spoiler alert! Bare in mind whilst writing, Binky is away for paint.

I’ve just found this. Why the GT4’s engine and drivetrain? Unless fully forged there are better engines and platforms you could have used. What’s the goal of the car? Adding all that weight is unfortunate. I would bet it’s still no quicker than a properly sorted turbo a-series

If you want to avoid cutting yourself on zip ties, pick up a set of flush cut wire cutters. As the name implies, they can cut a zip tie and leave the sharp edge flush with the body of the zip tie. For extra not-sharpness, cut across the width of the zip tie.
